FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS... · What does Three Dogs Snoring Professional Pet Sitting & Care Services offer?
Three Dogs Snoring is an "In-Your-Home" pet sitting service that offers you peace of mind when you are away from your loving pets. We come directly to your home where your pets are relaxed, free of stress, and feel secure. We feed your pet(s), provide opportunities for exercise and play, clean litter boxes or small cages, and provide a host of complimentary services. We are able to administer medications, we walk your pet and will perform other pet-care duties as desired.
In-your-home pet care is the pet preferred method of care for anyone who travels, works late, takes that much deserved vacation, travels for business, etc.
· Why should I use your services when I might be able to get a friend, neighbor, or relative to do it for me?
It is fantastic to have a friend, neighbor, or relative willing to help you while you are away. However, Three Dogs Snoring is bonded & insured through Pet Sitters International, and.., we will not ask you to watch our pets when we go out of town!
· How much does a visit cost?
Our pricing policy is structured on a per visit fee (i.e., let-out/feed). As such, the number of visits scheduled, the number of pets cared for, the optional services requested, and in some cases - the distance traveled (outside our general operating area) combine to determine your overall cost.
Give Barry or Valerie a call at (330) 414-0082 for more information.
· How many visits a day do you provide for pets?
Generally, for dogs, we recommend a minimum of 2 visits per day. Most of our clients request 2-4 visits per day. It really depends upon your dog's needs; but please remember that two visits a day equals 12 hours without relief. Could you do that?
For cats and small caged animals, we feel one visit per day may be sufficient. We do not encourage skipping days. If this is a must for you; a signed addendum will be required to your service agreement.
Visits can be provided at any time of the day you may prefer; morning, midday, afternoons, and evenings.
· Who will be performing the pet sitting services?
We do not farm out our jobs. As a matter of fact, my wife Valerie and I are the sole owners and operators of Three Dogs Snoring. Some pet sitters will hire young adults, or even children, to perform pet sitting services to their clients. This is not a practice that we agree with nor does it properly serve the needs of your pet.
At Three Dogs Snoring, we take the care of your pet to heart. Barry has received Pet Tech's First Aid & Care Training and should a situation ever arise where your pet requires special attention and/or emergency care - we will take whatever action is necessary to ensure their safety.
Protect your pets, your home, and yourself by doing business with an insured, bonded, and professional pet sitter.
· What areas do you service? Our general services area include: Wadsworth, Rittman, Doylestown, Sharon Center, Montville Township, Norton, Copley, Fairlawn, and Montrose, Ohio.
Three Dogs Snoring will always consider other areas, but may be required to add a fuel surcharge for services outside our general operating area.
· How do I get started with Three Dogs Snoring Pet Sitting and Care Services?
As soon as possible, before you need our services, please telephone Barry or Valerie at (330) 414-0082 (or email us at: ThreeDogsSnoring@gmail.com). We will schedule a free Meet & Greet appointment where we and your pets can meet. Additionally, we will supply the client information and service agreement forms for you to complete.
We recommend that you contact us as soon as you schedule your trip.
· What is the Meet & Greet meeting all about?
This free of charge visit is where we set up an appointment to come to your home to meet with you and your pet(s). This allows us to become familiar with your needs, your home, and to review the client information and service agreement we supply for you. At this time we will also pick up a set of your keys to your home.
· How long is each visit?
During each visit we take your pets outside for a potty break; refresh their food and water, clean their litter box, and of course, give them tender loving care! We will also fill out a visit feedback form that provides to you information as to how your pet enjoyed our time together. On the back of the card, we often note comments regarding your pet's activities or special needs.
Most visits average 30 minutes, but please remember; we charge by service, not time.
Visits can be provided at any time of the day you may prefer; morning, midday, afternoons, and evenings.
· Do you take "last-minute" reservations?
Yes, but a small surcharge may apply. Rest assured, we will make every effort to accommodate you. Obviously, we need to have access to your property and to have the required set of Three Dogs Snoring forms completed and on file; i.e., client Information and service agreement, plus any addendum.
· What kind of animals do you care for?
Three Dogs Snoring does not discriminate as to the breed or size of your pet. All we ask is that both the pet and we co-exist peacefully. This is why Three Dogs Snoring makes it a policy to meet with you and your pet(s) prior to accepting any pet sitting agreement.
Generally speaking; as long as your pet does not pose a danger to our safety, we will care for almost any animal.
